chapter 5

Well i shattered my my leg from falling out of the tree. Its weird for me to fall and loose my balance like that, I'm still getting used to the fact that i did fall. Dr.Stanpole says I'm getting better, but i don't feel any better. I'm broken and i doesn't like it. Ill be to walk again but i wot be able to do anymore sports. Sports are my life how am i going to move on. Gene visited me today. Its hard to see anyone. I just want this all to be over. Its embarrassing for anyone else to see me like this. When came in and brought with him the memory of falling. That hurt even more than the leg that is broken. He looked shocked and that doesn't make any sense to me. he was in the middle of about to tell me something but then Dr.Stanpole came by and Gene didn't have the chance. Today I'm getting shipped home to Boston. I wasn't at all surprised to see Gene when he came to see me. He really wanted  to giving me something but all i want is stories. I gotta have adventure somehow! He told me what he wanted to in the hospital. he told me something that was so shocking that was hard to grasp. He pushed me. Well he shook the tree and that was made my balance go. He is the reason why i cant play sports. My best friend pushed me out of the tree.

"Nothing surprised Phineas" (Gene page 60)- says that Finny was not taken by surprise easily
